Native-led Worship and Discipleship at the Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS)

We are thrilled to have connected and partnered with Pastor Bill, a boarding school chaplain who brings Lakota youth to the Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS) each year. WLS is a Christian conference in Carlinville, IL where hundreds of Native American and First Nations warriors from dozens of tribes across North America come together to worship and be spiritually encouraged, challenged and equipped.

This year, WLS is July 1 - July 6 and Eagles’ Wings will be covering the registration, travel, and lodging of six youth from Pine Ridge who we pray will continue to grow in their faith.

We are so excited to be able to support this Native-led conference, led by a Native-led organization (On Eagles’ Wings OEW) who desires to be the HOPE they want to see in their communities. In their words: “We come from backgrounds of brokenness, abuse, addiction and feeling alone. But we are not alone. Each member of the On Eagles’ Wings team found HOPE through a personal relationship with Jesus. OEW wants to empower and equip Native and First Nations young people like you to lead the way in bringing hope and healing to your communities. Join the On Eagles' Wings movement!”

Let’s pray that those in attendance can be the vessels of hope from Jesus for their communities.
