Oglala Re*Creation & Worship Center (ORWC) is a small mission church with the Assemblies of God Home Missions in Oglala on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota. Located just north on HWY 18 and clearly visible from anywhere around, the "Rec" (as it is mostly called) is within walking distance of the two major housing complexes in Oglala, the Housing and Trailer Court. We are a multi-purpose facility, open most days of the week, for after-school kids' programs, youth night, Bible studies, worship services, community events, etc. It is our goal not only for our ministry but for our daily life to bring the Love of Jesus Christ and the Good News of His Salvation to the community around us. We believe that God has called us among the Lakota people to be "A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS."

Iglutheca’s mission is to provide a pathway for homeless Lakota out of addiction and poverty. Homelessness is a rampant issue on the reservation, affecting the youth directly as well as indirectly through displacement of parents, caregivers, and relatives. Iglutheca operates day and overnight shelters for the Pine Ridge homeless population, as well as basic services such as feeding and access to laundry and showers. Most importantly, Iglutheca offers recovery programs (faith-based and non-faith-based), as well as bible studies and discipleship for interested adults.
