2024 Pine Ridge Vision Visit - Introduction
The Vision
On February 15, 2024 Eagles’ Wings returned to Pine Ridge, South Dakota. And although a frigid blizzard greeted us the day we arrived, the warmth of the fellowship that we shared over the following three days still remains with us today.
Our team came together from different churches and life experiences. The common thread was that each of us had spent time with Henry Brown and his staff in our Annual EW Celebration Banquet held last November. After that evening, this group came together out of a desire to return to Pine Ridge to see more clearly what the Lord has been and is doing.
Through consistently meeting in prayer, what ultimately brought us together was:
A shared heart for Pine Ridge and those whom we’ve been blessed to come to know
A shared posture to listen and learn from local ministries
A shared desire to seek the Lord’s will and not our own
A shared hope in the Gospel’s transformative work
